Melissa has been in the healthcare field for over 20 years. She excels in management and operations with special focuses on Quality Assurance, Operating Procedures, and Professional Development. She has managed both small practice operations as well as large scale teams. As Practice Manager, Melissa continues to develop policies and procedures to manage regulatory compliance, insurance changes, billing procedures and practice improvements.
Melissa Also acts as a liaison between the staff and physicians, as well as intermediary between the staff and patients. In order to make the overall experience a positive one, Melissa must understand the patients’ needs and concerns to navigate them through issues with insurance, referrals, and testing schedules. One of Melissa’s main goals is to keep the practice’s mission at the forefront and to help create an environment that fosters the relationship between the patient and the doctor and provide exceptional service.
