Dr. Rhodes is an expert in pulmonary, critical care, and internal medicine with a focus on asthma, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (scarring throughout the lungs), interstitial lung diseases (an inflammatory lung disorder characterized by abnormal formation of fibrous tissue between the tiny air sacs or ducts of the lungs), and pulmonary hypertension (when pressure in the pulmonary circulation becomes abnormally elevated). She was the only private practice physician serving among academics on the I.P.F. (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) National Advisory Panel.
