Dr. Chin is an expert in pulmonary, critical care, and internal medicine with a focus on lung sarcoidosis (an inflammation occurring in the lungs), pulmonary rehabilitation, interstitial lung diseases (an inflammatory lung disorder characterized by abnormal formation of fibrous tissue between the tiny air sacs or ducts of the lungs) and pulmonary vascular disease. Dr. Chin performed extensive research in sarcoidosis as a pulmonary fellow and received the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research award from the American Thoracic Society.
